What’s your definition of romantic?

As someone who is Asexual I find this hard to answer. Objectively I understand things that society considers romantic, but whether I consider them romantic is a much more complex question. It’s so complex I’m not even sure if I can answer it in all honesty.

It’s like I want to register romance, but for reasons that aren’t obvious to me I just, don’t.

I’m aware thar doesn’t seem to make sense. It doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me either.

I think I find it romantic or as close as I can get to just be with someone. But if it isn’t clear from the way I’m writing this I am definitely pushing to link something to romance in my head.
