Owning up

So I may have legal made a mistake. A minor mistake, which the law is ambiguous on anyway to do with picking up my dogs poo.

Now because I’ve been publicing innaccessiblity in my area and doing what others have revered to as causing problems. Someone decided to use my honesty against me and threatened to report me to the council. So I essentially beat them to the punch as it were.

I reported myself for dog fouling. Though I believe according to the law the sitsuiton qualified as a “reasonable exemption”, so whether I actually did anything wrong is debatable.

No one else who I discussed this with was able to prove to me how I had definitely done anything wrong. And were suddenly, yet again not interested in the law. Which honestly doesn’t surprise me.

I was even asked if I was neurodivergence, when insisting that it be proved that I had broken a law, and I’ll admit this park confused me. I thought the law applied to anyone and everyone, but people seem convinced that being governed by morals is enough.

It is quite obviously that they were threatening me, to try and stop me any way they could. But I made the decision to not give them this power over me.

If I’m found responsible for this crime, I will pay the fine accordingly.

This attempt to stop me hilighting an important issue in my local community isn’t going to work. Whatever they do. I’m going to keep going. Ultimately because I believe in what I’m doing and why I am doing it, whether or not others disagree.

This is a situation where if you are standing up for yourself and speaking out, you are not allowed to make even the smallest mistake.
