If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

If I could change one law, which law would I change? Now that’s a hard question perhaps harder than it should be.

The selfless part of me wants to say that no one should be lacking in anything, so the law(s) that currently allow homelessness need to be changed.

But honestly, as a disabled person, I just don’t want access to the world the same way that able people have access. I believe access to the world is something that everyone should have, no matter what the requirements are that they may need to enable there access to the world.

The world is full of excuses why access can not be granted. Reasons why people are excluded, and why that is somehow fair.

If I could change anything, if I could change one law, maybe this is to broad of a concept but it would be this.

It would be that we all have fair access to the world.

And I’m honestly a little shocked with myself that that’s all I would ask for with this writing challenge.
